Hello I’m Makie Do -er. I like to make things. Lots of them.

I make things for me, for my home, for my lovely babies, for my lovely hubbie. Sometimes I even make them for money…

I’m a Mummy of two, wife of one and mind of my own.  I’ve worked as a full time artist, yes, and loved it. But I’ve also pottered in the corporate world as an International Event Manager, a Circulation Director, even an Elected Councillor for a while.

I’ve been in and out of the publishing industry for over 7 years and I love it still, writting designing and making run in my veins.

In fact its fair to say I’m a total print geek. I love letterpress and screen print – and I totally love vintage prints, litho or otherwise. Paper and Ink in any format is just totally lovely.

Also a big fan of wood, fabric, mess and junk. Old things, new things, fuss and sleek. Ohhhh even talking about all this stuff makes me want to hunt around and make things!

I even have friends who make things – and sometimes I’ll show you there stuff too, if you like!
